The foundation of Dunn Legacy Housing was built on decades of firsthand experience in housing, education, and community service. Co-founders Cavell and Ronetta Braggs were motivated by a shared passion for helping others and strengthening communities. Co-Founder Ronetta Braggs was inspired by her mother, who successfully established and operated a residential care facility serving vulnerable populations for over 30 years. Through her lifelong involvement in the administrative management and operations of the business, Ronetta developed a deep understanding of the importance of stable housing, compassion, accountability, and resident-centered care. Cavell’s more than 20 years of experience as an educator, coach, mentor, and community leader, combined with his work as a real estate investor helping revitalize neighborhoods through residential redevelopment, reinforced the belief that safe, quality housing can transform lives and communities. Together, these experiences and values inspired the creation of Dunn Legacy Housing LLC.
